Aloe Plant Care 101

Updated: Sep 27

The Aloe plant is one of the easiest indoor plants to grow! Not only is it a low maintenance house plant, it is also an air purifier (mentioned in NASA's 1980 study on house plants: Interior Landscape Plants for Indoor Air Pollution Abatement).

Find a sunny kitchen window for your Aloe Vera and water it every 2-3 weeks. You can also use the gooey insides on minor burns and cuts, so having your plant nearby in the kitchen is great for a quick home remedy when needed.

In the summer months, your Aloe can be put outside. Make sure to bring it back in before the first frost, as frost will kill your Aloe!
